The International Institute is hosting an exclusive pre party for the Festival of Nations for all VIPs. This special event will take place on Thursday, August 27th, two days before the Festival of Nations opens to the general public.
This event will take place from 6:30 to 9:00 pm and is an opportunity for sponsors, local leaders, IISTL leadership staff, key partners and key donors to get an exclusive preview of the 2026 Festival of Nations.
This event will take place in the brand-new Tower Grove Park Director’s Croquet Garden. Guests of the VIP Pre-Party will be able to be among the first group who will get to see this new, vibrant gathering space.
Festival tickets will go on sale on June 1 and coast $250 per person. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
In addition to access to the VIP Kick-off party, VIP pass holders will receive the following benefits:
Once again the Piper Palm House will be open to Festival VIP guests during the weekend. This area is great for guests who would like to get out of the heat and have a comfortable spot to relax before heading back out into the park.
Guests will check in at the Piper Palm House and receive their special VIP lanyard and swag bag. Including in their lanyard will be 4 drink tickets for the weekend. The drink tickets can only be used in the VIP Oasis.
The swag bag will consist of sponsor branded items and Festival of Nations Merchandise.
The FON VIP area will be open from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, August 29 and from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, August 30. Since the VIP area is not in heavy use after 4, it will close an hour before the rest of the Festival of Nations.
In addition to drinks, there will be some snacks and food for guests. This may be food from FON vendors or snack purchased or donated. Since the food on the Festival grounds is the real draw, food will not be a main focus at the Piper Palm House.
To provide some entertainment and engagement, there should be a DJ or music in the VIP Oasis. Again, the musicians on stage are the real attraction, so the music will be more supplemental than a main feature.
In the past there have been scheduled activities in the VIP Oasis to attract and retain people to the area. While it has been discussed that the VIP Oasis is not an area where people linger for long, there should still be some décor and activities that make the space inviting.

Located in the Piper Palm House and with exclusive Global Artist Stage viewing area, the VIP Oasis offers attendees an elevated experience with a VIP Entrance and Festival gift, access to air-conditioned comfortable lounging areas and flushable restrooms. In the outdoor VIP area, attendees will enjoy a shaded patio, yard games and a main stage viewing area. Complimentary beverages will be offered in limited quantities with additional beverages available for purchase throughout the day. The Festival has much more to offer, so VIPs will have in-and-out access to the VIP Oasis all weekend long, allowing you to explore the wide variety of market vendors, cuisines and entertainment experiences the Festival offers.
